VILLAGE OF TOBIAS P.O. BOX 94 TOBIAS, NEBRASKA 68453 October 1, 2024 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Tobias, Nebraska was held at the Tobias Fire Hall in said Village on the 1st day of October, 2024. Present were Chairman Dick and Trustees Krupicka and Kastanek, Wolfe and Smith were absent. The Village Clerk was also present. Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. Dick called the meeting to order at 7:36pm. Public comments: Krupicka motioned to approve a Building Permit; Dick seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Krupicka, and Kastanek; no nay votes. Previous minutes were reviewed. Dick motioned to approve; Krupicka seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Krupicka, and Kastanek; no nay votes. Bank statements and Treasurer’s Report were presented. Krupicka motioned to approve all claims, Dick seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Krupicka, and Kastanek; no nay votes. Action on Nuisance Properties continues as Village proceeds with abatement. Dick to contact businesses for removal of vehicles. Dick to contact attorney on procedure for removal of nuisance raccoons on town property. Krupicka motioned to adjourn, Kastanek seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Kastanek, and Krupicka; no nay votes. Meeting adjourned at 8:55pm.
