VILLAGE OF TOBIAS P. O. BOX 94 TOBIAS, NEBRASKA 68453 The Budget Hearing of the Village of Tobias was held on the 2nd day of September, 2025, at the Tobias Fire Hall. Notice of Budget Hearing was published in the Wilber Republican newspaper on August 13, 2025. Board members present were Dick, Wolfe, Schafer, Baxa, and Santacroce. Also present was Susan Bartels, Village Clerk. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. The Budget Hearing was opened at 7:30 p.m. Three copies of the proposed budget statement were available to the public. Gary Dick, Chairman, made a presentation outlining the key provisions of the proposed budget statement as directed in the prepared budget notes, including, but not limited to, a comparison with the prior year’s budget. The floor was then opened for public comment on the proposed budget statement. All members of the public wishing to address the governing body were provided a reasonable amount of time to do so. There being no further business, a motion was by Wolfe and seconded by Schafer to adjourn the Budget Hearing. Motion carried with Dick, Wolfe, Schafer, Baxa, and Santacroce voting aye. No nay votes.
