VILLAGE OF TOBIAS P.O. BOX 94 TOBIAS, NEBRASKA 68453 March 5, 2024 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Tobias, Nebraska was held at the Tobias Fire Hall in said Village on the 5th day of March, 2024. Present were Chairman Dick, Trustees Krupicka, Kastanek, and Smith. The Village Clerk was also present. Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. Chairman Dick called the meeting to order at 7:30pm. Public comments were brought forth by Lonnie Schafer reporting on the repair of the Ball field fence. Work should be completed by May 2024. Previous minutes were reviewed. Dick motioned to approve; Krupicka seconded, motion carried; aye votes Krupicka, Kastanek, Dick, and Smith; no nay votes. Bank statements and Treasurer’s Report were presented. Smith motioned to approve, Kastanek seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Krupicka, Kastanek, and Smith; no nay votes. Smith motioned to approve all claims, Dick seconded, motion carried; aye votes Smith, Kastanek, and Dick, no nay votes. Krupicka abstained. Disconnect Notice was presented to Board. Delinquent bill has since been paid. Action on Nuisance Properties will begin as proposed. Chairman Dick will contact Attorney to send letter on first property proposed and action will commence. Smith motioned to adjourn, Krupicka seconded, motion carried; aye votes Kastanek, Krupicka, Dick, and Smith; no nay votes. Meeting adjourned at 8:34pm.
