VILLAGE OF TOBIAS P.O. BOX 94 TOBIAS, NEBRASKA 68453 December 5, 2023 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Tobias, Nebraska was held at the Tobias Fire Hall in said Village on the 5th day of December, 2023. Present were Chairman Dick, Trustees Kastanek, Krupicka, Wolfe, and Smith. The Village Clerk was also present. Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. Chairman Dick called the meeting to order at 7:30pm. Previous minutes were reviewed. Krupicka motioned to approve; Kastanek seconded, motion carried; aye votes Wolfe, Smith, and Dick; no nay votes. Bank Statements, and Treasurer’s Report were presented. Kastanek motioned to approve, Dick seconded, motion carried; aye votes Smith, Wolfe, and Krupicka; no nay votes. Dick motioned to approve claims 1-20, excepting 4, 8, and 12,; Smith seconded, aye votes Wolfe, Kastanek, and Krupicka, no nay votes. Kastanek motioned to approve claims 4 and 8; Krupicka seconded, motion carried; aye votes Smith, Dick, and Wolfe; no nay votes. Wolfe motioned to approve 12, Smith seconded, motion carried; aye votes Krupicka, Kastanek, and Dick. Action on Nuisance Properties will begin in January 2024. Attorney will send letter to property owners. New Ordinances (2-401 and 2-402) were passed by the Village Board and will be published and posted as required. Smith motioned to adjourn, Wolfe seconded, motion carried; aye votes Krupicka, Dick, and Kastanek; no nay votes. Meeting adjourned at 8:34pm.
