VILLAGE OF TOBIAS P.O. BOX 94 TOBIAS, NEBRASKA 68453 APRIL 2, 2024 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Tobias, Nebraska was held at the Tobias Fire Hall in said Village on the 2nd day of April, 2024. Present were Chairman Dick, Trustees Krupicka, Kastanek, and Wolfe. The Village Clerk was also present. Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. Chairman Dick called the meeting to order at 7:02pm. Previous minutes were reviewed. Krupicka motioned to approve; Kastanek seconded, motion carried; aye votes Krupicka, Kastanek, Dick, and Wolfe; no nay votes. Bank statements and Treasurer’s Report were presented. Kastanek motioned to approve all claims, Dick seconded, motion carried; aye votes Wolfe, Kastanek, and Dick, no nay votes. Krupicka abstained. Lane Mile Report was presented. Wolfe motioned to approve with no changes; Kastanek seconded, motion carried; aye votes Wolfe, Kastanek, Dick, and Krupicka; no nay votes. Action on Nuisance Properties began on first property. On April 2, 2024, at 6:30pm, the Village Board contacted a Village resident to present a letter from the attorney outlining the Ordinances in violation, and Due Processes that would hereafter begin. Krupicka to check on past due balance of current resident. Motion was made to replace the Gym doors. Krupicka motion to approve replacement with Push Bar Metal doors; Dick seconded, motion carried; aye votes Krupicka, Kastanek, Dick, and Wolfe; no nay votes. Two United States flags and one Kansas flag have been ordered to replace the worn ones hanging on the Boulevard. Dick motioned to adjourn, Wolfe seconded, motion carried; aye votes Kastanek, Krupicka, Dick, and Wolfe; no nay votes. Meeting adjourned at 8:00pm.
