Tina Marie (Berg) Tveter , 79, of Wilber, passed away Nov. 1, 2024.
She was born Aug. 11, 1945, in Hazen, North Dakota, to Ivan and Edith (Stein) Berg. Tina graduated from Southeast Community College as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Tina and Russel Tveter were united in marriage Aug, 12, 1966, in Webster, South Dakota, and from this union, three children were born, Amber, Amy and Anthony.
After retiring from nursing, Tina was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and attended the First Evangelical Lutheran Church. She also enjoyed reading books, gardening, sharing laughs at happy hour, baking her famous homemade angel food cakes and chocolate chip cookies. Tina’s greatest joy was spending time doing activities with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Russel Tveter of Wilber; daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Justin Maas of Lincoln; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Colby Marks of Wilber; son, Anthony Tveter of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota; grandchildren, Melissa Maas and Phil Hardy, Corbin Mass and Delanie Tinnerstet, Jaxon Mass and Lily Karnish, Jonah Maas and Grant Marks; brothers and sisters include, Bonnie Flaa, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Mark and Peggy Berg, Alexandria, Minnesota; Faye and El, Gronvold Moorehead, Minnesota; Sid and Deb Berg, Colfax. North Dakota; brother-in-law, Kim and Brenda Tveter, Fargo, North Dakota; great-grandchild, Claire Hardy; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Edith Berg; brother, Charles Berg, parents-in-law, Harry and Margaret Tveter; brothers-in-law, Nolan Tveter, Marlo Tveter, and Bryan Flaa.
A Celebration of Life service will be Friday, Nov. 8, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wilber. Memorial contributions are suggested in care of the family for a future designation. Arrangements by Lauber Funeral and Cremation Services, Milford.
