This is a synopsis of the Saline County Board of Equalization’s March 30, 2021, regular meeting proceedings. A complete set of the proceedings is on file in the Board of Equalizations’ Journal, is of public record in the Saline County Clerk’s office and on our website: www.co.saline.ne.us SALINE COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION The regular meeting of the Saline County Board of Equalization opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting was called to order at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, by Chairperson Russ Karpisek. Present were Karpisek, Stephanie A. Krivohlavek, Marvin A. Kohout, Philip Hardenburger and Janet J. Henning Commissioners, and County Clerk Anita K. Bartels. Notice of said meeting was posted in the County Clerk’s office, on the Saline County Website, and published in all three county newspapers prior on March 24, 2021, in compliance with State Statutes. Let the record show that all proceedings are electronically recorded. Karpisek advised those present of the open meetings act posted at the back of the room. The Board: Approved the agenda as presented; Approved the minutes of the March 16, 2021, meeting as presented; Approved tax list correction #2021-012; Approved two motor vehicle tax exemption applications from Friend Christian Assembly Church for a 2001 Bluebird bus and a 2012 Elkhard Coach bus; There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting was adjourned at 9:28 a.m. The next regular meeting will be on April 13, 2021, at 9:15 a.m., in the Saline County Commissioners’ Room, Court House, Wilber, NE.
