A complete set of the proceedings along with an approved list of claims is on file in the Board of Commissioners’ Journal, is of public record in the Saline County Clerk’s office and on our website: www.co.saline.ne.us SALINE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS The regular meeting of the Saline County Board of Commissioners was called to order at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, by Chairperson Phil Hardenburger. Present were Hardenburger, Stephanie A. Krivohlavek, Marvin A. Kohout and Janet J. Henning, Commissioners, County Attorney David Solheim and County Clerk Diann Nettifee. Commissioner Russ Karpisek was absent. Notice of said meeting was posted in the County Clerk’s Office and published in all three county newspapers on January 31st, 2024, in compliance with State Statutes; Hardenburger advised those present of the open meetings act at the back of the room and that all proceedings are electronically recorded; Approved Agenda as presented; Approved the minutes of the January 23, 2024 regular meeting; Citizens Forum; Russ Fritz addressed the Commissioners with concerns of elections by mail; Report of Officials; Henning attended Public Health Solutions and CASA meetings; Krivohlavek will be attending Saline County Aging Services and Railroad Transportation Safety meetings; Kohout attended NACO Legislature revue, Wellness and NACO Insurance meetings; reminded Board February 23rd is the Saline County Recognition Banquet; Hardenburger attended an Extension Board meeting and has upcoming County Chair Workshop and Agricultural meetings, setting up meeting for the Railroad Transportation Safety District; Approved Resolution #2024-004; Transfer $279.00 from #0300 Roads Fund to the #0100 General Fund.
