It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patty Sue (Alitzer) Burianek, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Patty peacefully left this world on July 27, 2023, in Hallam, where she made a new home with her husband, Dennis Joe Burianek.
Born Dec. 22, 1935, in West Virginia, Patty led a remarkable life filled with love, compassion and cherished memories. In February 1995, she married the love of her life, Dennis Joe Burianek, and together they shared a bond that grew stronger with each passing year.
During her earlier years, Patty dedicated herself to the noble profession of nursing. She served as a nurse aid at Madonna, touching countless lives with her care, kindness and tender-hearted nature. Her passion for helping others made a significant impact on those she cared for and worked alongside.
Outside of her professional life, Patty found immense joy in simple pleasures. She had an inherent love for the outdoors, and it was not uncommon to find her strolling amidst the beauty of nature. She also had a creative side and delighted in crafting handmade cards, each one a thoughtful expression of her love for others.
Patty's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and a doting grandmother. Family gatherings were always filled with warmth, laughter and cherished moments that will be forever treasured in their hearts.
Patty Sue Alitzer Burianek leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion and joy. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
