Mary Ann Havlovic, 94, of Lincoln, entered into eternal rest on  April 6, 2023, at her home in Lincoln.

She was born Sept. 30, 1928, in Swedeburg, Nebraska, to Frank and Georgia (Mach) Rezac. Mary Ann attended St. Wenceslaus School in Wahoo and graduated from Wahoo High School in 1946. On May 27, 1952, she was united in marriage to Robert Havlovic at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo.

Through the years, Mary Ann worked for Elgin Watch Company in Lincoln (1946-57), Control Data Corp. in Minnesota as an assembly line worker (1961-71) and Union Bank cafeteria in Lincoln (1989-2001). She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Lincoln, VFW Post #4626 Auxiliary and American Legion Post #3 Auxiliary.

Mary Ann was an excellent cook and baker. She always had time to entertain, and she would always make sure her guests had lunch, cookies or dessert before they left her home. Mary Ann enjoyed bus trips, polka tours and polka dances.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Havlovic, and son, David Havlovic.

She is survived by many family members and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial was April 11 at St. John Catholic Church in Lincoln with interment at St. Francis Cemetery in Wahoo. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Wahoo, St. John Catholic Church, Lincoln or Marian Sisters in Waverly. Arrangements by Svoboda Funeral Home, Wahoo.
