Alice Mae (Beck) Rejcha, age 92, of Hallam passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

Alice was born Sept. 3, 1931, in Wilber to Joseph and Anna (Pechoucek) Beck. She was the youngest of six children. Alice married Milo Rejcha on May 11, 1948. They were blessed with nearly 75 years of marriage and seven children. They made their home on the Rejcha family farm. They worked together planting crops, raising hogs, cattle and chickens. They especially enjoyed gardening together in their retirement years. Alice loved to can and freeze the produce from their gardens and  her dill pickles were a family favorite. Alice also loved to cook and bake. Her fried chicken, potato salad and chocolate cake were always a favorite at family picnics. Alice loved her children and grandchildren more than anything else in this world. Family was so important to her.

Alice is survived by her children, Diane (Dennis) Buss of Cortland, Samantha (Joe) Dabbs of Glenwood, Iowa, Deb (Mark) Mazankowski of Leroy, Kansas, Donna (Mike Renner) Rejcha of Hallam, Doug (Lori) Rejcha of Hallam, Don (Lisa) Rejcha of Hallam, and Dawn (Dave) Parks of Crete; grandchildren, Lisa (Mike) Plewa, Heather (Kevin) Neubauer, Matt Mazankowski, Alicia (Jared) Grimes, Trevor Rejcha, Taylor (Ryan) Nanny, Dylan Rejcha, Nate (Audrey) Parks, Kellie (Austin) Aksamit, and Cory (Lexi) Parks; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, LaVerne (Harry) Johnston of Lincoln.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Milo; parents, Joseph and Anna Beck; grandson, Tanner Rejcha; siblings, Albert Beck, Tillie McManus, Mildred Richtarik, Bob Beck; and infant brother, Adolph Beck.

There will be a private graveside service. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hallam Fire and Rescue. Arrangements by Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
