WILBER CARE CENTER BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING May 8, 2023 PRESENT Chris Linhart Scott Albert Greg Hasenohr Joyce Wusk Stephanie Hroch OTHERS PRESENT: Jill Rogman—Office Manager Matt Ross—RHD Nicole Lane – Administrator The regular monthly meeting was called to order at 5:30 pm by President, Chris Linhart, at the Wilber Care Center. Motion made to approve minutes from the March 13th and April 10th by Stephanie Hroch, and seconded by Greg Hasenohr. Motion carried. General Financials Revenue – April revenue reviewed. Donation received. Expenses – expenses were reviewed, with most departments seeing a decrease. Census – Matt reported down a little bit. We are at 32. Reviewing the referral process. Aging of accounts – Discussed Aging of accounts report. Motion made to approve by Scott Albert, seconded by Greg Hasenohr Staffing/Overtime – Fairly low. Small variances discussed. Motion made to approve by Greg Hasenohr, seconded by Scott Albert. Motion carried. Old Business Range Hood – No updates at this time. ERC – Tax forms have been submitted. Could take 6-8 months. New Business Administrator thoughts - Reviewing PPD and staffing for nursing. Eliminated a couple contracts to save on cost. Also looking into recruiting benefits, especially for nursing. Looking into more involvement with community programs as well for the facility. Looking for a new dietician. The current dietician is retiring. Budget – working on a draft. Contracts – reviewing current contracts to eliminate extra costs. Donation – Received a donation. Decision made to invest in a CD. Transportation – Transmission damaged in old bus. Taking quotes for vans. State Survey – Went very well. Few tags, corrected with plan of action. RHD update – July 1st Medicaid rate increase discussion, included with facility star rating review.
