WILBER CARE CENTER BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING April 10, 2023 PRESENT Chris Linhart Scott Albert Greg Hasenohr Joyce Wusk Stephanie Hroch OTHERS PRESENT: Jill Rogman—Office Manager Matt Ross—RHD Vicky Lepant – RHD Nursing Consultant Nicole Lane – New Administrator The regular monthly meeting was called to order at 5:25 pm by President, Chris Linhart, at the Wilber Care Center. The minutes from the March 13, 2023, meeting will be revised. Revenue – Matt reported on March P&L. Revenue went up due to more days in March. AL revenue has been trending up since January. Motion made to approve General Financials by Scott Albert, seconded by Joyce Wusk. Motion carried. Expenses – expenses were reviewed, with most departments seeing a decrease. Census – Matt reported down a little bit. We are at 32. Aging of accounts – Discussed A/R. We are waiting on an insurance payment and have been filling out Medicaid applications as necessary. Staffing/Overtime – Fairly consistent, with small variances discussed. Bills – Discussed the Foreign nurse program, along with facility/agency obligations. Motion made to approve Expense section by Stephanie Hroch, and seconded by Greg Hasenohr. Motion carried. Old Business Range Hood - May be a difference in cost due to measurements. ERC – Matt updated the Board and shared that turnaround from the IRS could be 6-8 months. New Administrator – Nicole Lane will start Monday. Update – State Survey. Vicky reported it is going very well. Very pleased with the care that residents receive at this facility. They’ve received great reports from residents and families of residents. New Business Donation – Received a donation. Decision made to invest in a CD. Motion made to invest in a CD by Gregg Hasenohr, seconded by Stephanie Hroch. Motion carried. Mini split heat pump – Need to purchase heat pump. AL bath house & break room is on the last phase. Removal of all the cooling in the loop. Board approved. RHD update – Preliminarily we may see a rate increase for Medicaid. Matt also shared that the new Virtual Reality system for residents arrived Friday.
