Village of Tobias PO Box 94 Tobias, Nebraska 68453 OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS June 7, 2016 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Tobias, Nebraska was held at the Fire Hall in said Village on the 7th day of June, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. Present were Chairman Jess, Trustees: Krupicka, Kastanek, Baxa and Aude. Donna Rut, Village Clerk, also attended the meeting. Notice of the meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open tot he attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. The minutes, claims, and the treasurer's report were presented. A motion was made by Baxa and seconded by Aude to approve the minutes and treasurer's report and to pay all claims as presented. Motion carried with all members voting aye. Discussion on three properties still needing to be cleaned up was held. A second letter will be sent to Trevor Rainey, Jeremy Scarf and Cervantes Bonilla. Attorney Gropp will be contracted about the next step on the property nuisances. A motion was made by Krupicka and seasoned by Baxa to donate $1,250.00 to the Western Rescue Unit and $375.00 to the Daykin and Swanton Rescue Units for their services. Motion carried with all members voting aye. As there was no further business, a motion as made by Kastanek and seconded by Krupicka to adjourn. Motion carried with all members voting aye.
