Village of Tobias P.O. Box 94 Tobias, Nebraska 68453 OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS April 7, 2015 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Tobias, Nebraska was held at the Fire Hall in said Village on the 7th day of April, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. Present were Chairman Elkins, Trustees: Aude, Jess, Krupicka, and Baxa. Donna Rut, Village Clerk, also attending the meeting. Notice of the meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. Scott Gropp, Village Attorney discussed the procedure on renting the farm ground. Notices will be published in the Fairbury and Wilber papers. Discussion on nuisance properties and unlicensed or abandoned vehicles was held. Attorney Gropp will proceed with abatement of the nuisances and vehicles. A motion was made by Jess and seconded by Krupicka to approve the Fire Protection Interlocal Agreement. Motion carried with all members voting aye. A motion was made by Jess and seconded by Aude to have Krupicka and Baxa replace the culverts were needed. Motion carried with all members voting aye. A motion was made by Jess and seconded by Baxa to contact VanKirk Brothers Contracting to make necessary repairs at the lift station. Motion carried with all members voting aye. The claims, Treasurer's report, and minutes were presented. A motion was made by Aude and seconded by Krupicka to approve the Treasurer's report and minutes and pay all claims as presented. Motion carried with all members present voting aye. Due to the resignation of Elizabeth Noel as water meter reader, a motion was made by Baxa and seconded by Krupicka to have Deb Jess read the meters. Motion carried with Aude, Krupicka, Baxa, and Elkins voting aye. Jess abstained. As there was no further business, a motion was made by Jess and seconded by Krupicka to adjourn.
