VILLAGE OF TOBIAS P.O. BOX 94 TOBIAS, NEBRASKA 68453 JUNE 6, 2023 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Tobias, Nebraska was held at the Tobias Fire Hall in said Village on the 6th day of June, 2023. Present were Chairman Dick, Trustees: Kastanek, Krupicka, Smith and Wolfe. The Village Clerk was also present. Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. Chairman Dick called the meeting to order at 7:30pm. Town resident inquired into the purchase of the Library building in Tobias. Board will discuss and check into possibility of sale. Will discuss with resident at next Village meeting on July 11 2023. Claims, bank statement, and account balances were presented. Krupicka motioned to pay all claims, Dick seconded the motion, aye votes Dick, Krupicka, Wolfe, Kastanek, no nay votes, Smith abstained. The July meeting has been moved to July 11, 2023 due to the first Tuesday of July falling on July 4th. Notice of Meeting posted has been duly notated. Current CD rates were discussed. A decision was made to move current CD’s due to better rates. Dick motioned, Krupicka seconded the motion, aye votes Dick, Krupicka, Smith, Kastanek, Wolfe, no nay votes. Dick will check on progress of the nuisance properties in town. Dick will check on the Ordinance concerning Animals in Town. Krupicka to check on Lower Big Blue flow meter cost share. Kastanek to get signatures, notarization on Blobaum & Busboom P.C. Service Agreement and return forms by email. Krupicka to complete Emergency Contact Form and return. Fairbury Journal News/Viking Industrial Painting article given to Dick for review. Krupicka motioned to adjourn, Kastanek seconded the motion, aye votes Dick, Smith, Wolfe, no nay votes.
