VILLAGE OF TOBIAS P.O. BOX 94 TOBIAS, NEBRASKA 68453 July 7, 2026 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Tobias, Nebraska was held at the Tobias Fire Hall in said Village on the 7th day of July 2026. Present were Chairman Dick, Trustees Schafer, Baxa, Wolfe, and Santacroce. The Village Clerk was also present. Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. Dick called the meeting to order at 7:31pm. Public comments: None. Water Operator Report: All waters tests have been good. Previous minutes were reviewed. Wolfe motioned to approve; Baxa seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Schafer, Baxa, Wolfe, and Santacroce; no nay votes. Bank statements and Treasurer’s Report were presented. Schafer motioned to approve all claims; Santacroce seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Santacroce, Wolfe, and Schafer. no nay votes. Baxa abstained. Disconnect Notices: None Nuisance properties: 108 Oak St. property has been abated and demolished. Board has obtained a Roll-Off for Village cleanup. Date of Roll-off delivery will be July 20th to August 3rd, 2026 on Main Street Tobias. Discussion took place concerning setting the 2026-2027 Levy. It was discussed that the Levy would be increased the same amount as last year. Final determination will be available in the 2026-2027 budget. Baxa motioned to adjourn, Dick seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Santacroce, Baxa, Wolfe, and Schafer, no nay votes. Meeting adjourned at 8:25pm.
