VILLAGE OF TOBIAS P.O. BOX 94 TOBIAS, NEBRASKA 68453 JANUARY 7, 2025 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Tobias, Nebraska was held at the Tobias Fire Hall in said Village on the 7th day of January, 2025. Present were Chairman Dick, Trustees Wolfe, Baxa, and Santacroce. The Village Clerk was also present. Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. Dick called the meeting to order at 7:30pm. Public comments: None Water Operator Report was given. Water tests were good. Two issues with sewer problems have been resolved. Water Operator exited the meeting at 7:37. Previous minutes were reviewed. Wolfe motioned to approve; Baxa seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Baxa, Wolfe, and Santacroce; no nay votes. Bank statements and Treasurer’s Report were presented. Dick motioned to approve all claims, Santacroce seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Baxa, Wolfe, and Santacroce; no nay votes. Action on Nuisance Properties continues as Village proceeds with abatement. Dick to contact Fire Department on building burn procedure for removal of nuisance raccoons on town property. Dick also to contact Nuisance Abatement Company for possible assistance in removal of nuisance properties. Baxa motioned to adjourn, Santacroce seconded, motion carried; aye votes Baxa, Santacroce, Dick, and Wolfe; no nay votes. Meeting adjourned at 8:13pm. Next Meeting 2/4/2025.
