VILLAGE OF TOBIAS P.O. BOX 94 TOBIAS, NEBRASKA 68453 February 3, 2026 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Tobias, Nebraska was held at the Tobias Fire Hall in said Village on the 3rd day of February 2026. Present were Chairman Dick, Trustees Baxa, Schafer, Wolfe, and Santacroce. The Village Clerk was also present. Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. Dick called the meeting to order at 7:30pm. Public comments: None Water Operator Report: No serious weather related issues. Previous minutes were reviewed. Wolfe motioned to approve; Baxa seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Baxa, Wolfe, Schafer, and Santacroce; no nay votes. Bank statements and Treasurer’s Report were presented. Santacroce motioned to approve all claims; Schafer seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Santacroce, Wolfe, Schafer, and Baxa; no nay votes. Disconnect Notices: Two, now paid. Discussion ensued concerning the 2026 Election and Trustee terms ending. Action on Nuisance Properties continues as Village proceeds with abatement. Property cleanup is going well on a town nuisance property. A Priority List of properties was developed to continue with town cleanup. A Street Maintenance Schedule has been proposed in order to provide for street maintenance in a timely manner. The March Board Meeting has been set for March 10, 2026 as Clerk will be out of town on regularly scheduled meeting date. Santacroce motioned to adjourn, Dick seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Santacroce, Wolfe, Schafer, and Baxa; no nay votes. Meeting adjourned at 8:39pm.
