VILLAGE OF TOBIAS P.O. BOX 94 TOBIAS, NEBRASKA 68453 August 4, 2026 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Tobias, Nebraska was held at the Tobias Fire Hall in said Village on the 4th day of August 2026. Present were Chairman Dick, Trustees Schafer, Baxa, and Santacroce. Trustee Wolfe was absent. The Village Clerk was also present. Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. Dick called the meeting to order at 7:28pm. Public comments: None. Water Operator Report: Water tests have been good. Previous minutes were reviewed. Santacroce motioned to approve; Baxa seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Schafer, Baxa, and Santacroce; no nay votes. Bank statements and Treasurer’s Report were presented. Santacroce motioned to approve claims 1-10; Dick seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Santacroce, and Schafer. no nay votes. Baxa abstained. Baxa motioned to approve claims 11-21; Dick seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Baxa, and Schafer, no nay votes. Santacroce abstained. Disconnect Notices: None Nuisance properties: 108 Oak St. property has been abated and demolished. Abatement continues on 106 Oak St. property. The One- and Six-Year Plan has been approved and signed with no changes. The Annual Certification of Program Compliance for Highway Allocation Funds has been certified and signed. A project update was discussed on the Turkey Creek Watershed project. Discussion took place concerning New Legislative Changes. Schafer motioned to adjourn, Santacroce seconded, motion carried; aye votes Dick, Santacroce, Baxa, and Schafer, no nay votes. Meeting adjourned at 8:25pm.
