VILLAGE OF TOBIAS P.O. BOX 94 TOBIAS, NEBRASKA 68453 APRIL 8, 2025 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Tobias, Nebraska was held at the Tobias Fire Hall in said Village on the 8th day of April, 2025. Present were Trustees Wolfe, Baxa, and Santacroce. Chairman Dick and Trustee Schafer were absent. The Village Clerk was also present. Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. Wolfe called the meeting to order at 7:39pm. Public comments: None Water Operator Report: Operator had Pollman work on water line connected to house south of town to clean it out and make it operational. Previous minutes were reviewed. Baxa motioned to approve; Santacroce seconded, motion carried; aye votes Baxa, Wolfe, and Santacroce; no nay votes. Bank statements and Treasurer’s Report were presented. Wolfe motioned to approve all claims, Santacroce seconded, motion carried; aye votes Santacroce, Baxa, and Wolfe; no nay votes. Wolfe motioned to have clerk check on CD rates for the maturing CD, Baxa seconded, motion carried; aye votes Wolfe, Baxa, and Santacroce. The Boulevard Flag at the north end of town needs to be replaced. Santacroce will check on purchasing a new flag. Disconnect Notices: One Notice was sent to resident, but has been now paid with no disconnection. Action on Nuisance Properties continues as Village proceeds with abatement. Village Attorney to contact property owner concerning the burning of a nuisance property. Baxa has been contacted for an estimate on the cleaning up of same nuisance property. Wolfe motioned to adjourn, Baxa seconded, motion carried; aye votes Baxa, Santacroce, and Wolfe; no nay votes. Meeting adjourned at 8:28pm.
