VILLAGE OF TOBIAS P. O. BOX 94 TOBIAS, NEBRASKA 68453 The Special Hearing of the Village of Tobias was held on the 1st day of September, 2026 at the Tobias Fire Hall. Notice of the Special Hearing was published in the Wilber Republican newspaper on August 19, 2026. Board members present were Dick, Wolfe, Baxa, and Santacroce. Also present was Susan Bartels, Village Clerk. Schafer was absent. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. The Special Hearing was opened at 7:37 p.m. Gary Dick, Chairman, presented information related to the setting of the final tax levy as published. The related resolution has been prepared. The floor was opened for public comment on the tax levy. All members of the public wishing to address the governing body were provided a reasonable amount of time to do so. There being no further business, a motion was made by Wolfe and seconded by Baxa to adjourn the Special Hearing. Motion carried with Dick, Wolfe, Baxa, and Santacroce voting aye. No nay votes.
