Village of Swanton PO Box 23 Swanton, Nebraska 68445 July 13, 2026 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Swanton, Nebraska was held at the Fire Hall in Swanton, Nebraska on the 13th day of July, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. Present were: Chairman Runty, Trustees: Strouf, Placek, and Bass. Likens absent. Alan Krupicka, Water Operator and Donna Rut, Village Clerk also attending the meeting. Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. The claims, treasurer’s report, and minutes were presented. A motion was made by Strouf and seconded by Placek to approve the treasurer’s report and minutes and pay all claims as presented. Motion carried with Runty, Strouf, Placek, and Bass voting aye. Likens absent. A motion was made by Placek and seconded by Bass to prepay 1,500 gallons of propane at $1.75 per gallon in the amount of $2,625.00. Motion carried with Runty, Strouf, Placek, and Bass voting aye. Likens absent. Discussion was held on the 2026-27 budget, Southeast Ne Development District, One & Six Year Road Plan, and water deposits. Alan Krupicka, water operator gave his monthly report. As there was no further business, a motion was made by Placek and seconded by Bass to adjourn. Motion carried with all members present voting aye. Likens absent. Donna S.
