Village of Swanton PO Box 23 Swanton, Nebraska 68445 February 9, 2026 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Swanton, Nebraska was held at the Fire Hall in Swanton, Nebraska on the 9th day of February, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. Present were: Chairman Runty, Trustees: Strouf, Likens, Placek, and Bass. Donna Rut, Village Clerk and Alan Krupicka, Water Operator also attending the meeting. Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. The claims, treasurer’s report, and minutes were presented. A motion was made by Placek and seconded by Bass to approve the treasurer’s report and minutes and pay all claims as presented. Motion carried with Runty, Likens, Placek, and Bass voting aye. Strouf abstained. A motion was made by Likens and seconded by Placek to approve Pay App 2 from Judd Brothers for $62,095.28. Motion carried with Runty, Strouf, Likens, Placek, and Bass voting aye. A motion was made by Strouf and seconded by Likens to take an advance of $72,460.00 on our credit line for the new well. Motion carried with Runty, Strouf, Likens, and Placek voting aye. Bass abstained. Alan Krupicka, Water Operator reported on the water testing and well. As there was no further business, a motion was made by Strouf and seconded by Likens to adjourn. Motion carried with all members present voting aye. Donna S.
