Village of Swanton PO Box 23 Swanton, Nebraska 68445 August 19, 2026 A special meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Swanton, Nebraska was held at the Fire Hall in Swanton, Nebraska on the 19th day of August, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. Present were: Chairman Runty, Trustees: Strouf, Placek, and Bass. Likens absent. Donna Rut, Village Clerk also attending the meeting. Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. A motion was made by Bass and seconded by Placek to approve the claims from Norris Public Power for the customer contribution for the new well electrical service in the amount of $4,204.01. Motion carried with all members present voting aye. Likens absent. As there was no further business, a motion was made by Placek and seconded by Strouf to adjourn.
