VILLAGE OF SWANTON PO BOX 23 SWANTON, NEBRASKA 68445 APRIL 14, 2025 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Swanton, Nebraska was held at the Fire Hall in Swanton, Nebraska on the 14th day of April, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. Present were Chairman Runty, Trustees: Strouf, Likens, Placek, and Bass. Donna Rut, Village Clerk and Alan Krupicka, Water Operator also attending the meeting. Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. The claims, treasurer’s report, and minutes were presented. A motion was made by Likens and seconded by Strouf to approve the treasurer’s report and minutes and pay all claims as presented. Motion carried with all members voting aye A motion was made by Bass and seconded by Placek to approve Timothy L. Moll with Rembolt Ludtke as our bond counsel and sign the agreement. Motion carried with all members voting aye. A motion was made by Placek and seconded by Likens to sign the contract with Prellwitz Exteriors to replace the west roof on the auditorium for $10,000.00 and to pay the down payment of $5,000.00. Motion carried with Runty, Strouf, Likens, Placek, and Bass voting aye. Alan Krupicka, Water Operator gave his monthly water report.
