Village of Swanton PO Box 23 Swanton, Nebraska 68445 April 13, 2026 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Swanton, Nebraska was held at the Fire Hall in Swanton, Nebraska on the 13th day of April, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. Present were: Chairman Runty, Trustees: Strouf, Likens, Placek, and Bass. Alan Krupicka, Water Operator and Donna Rut, Village Clerk also attending the meeting. Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. The claims, treasurer’s report, and minutes were presented. A motion was made by Bass and seconded by Strouf to approve the treasurer’s report and minutes and pay all claims as presented. Motion carried with Runty, Strouf, Likens, Placek, and Bass voting aye. A motion was made by Bass and seconded by Strouf to approve Pay App 4 from Judd Brothers for $28,095.30 pending USDA-RD approval. Motion carried with Runty, Strouf, Likens, Placek, and Bass voting aye. The Saline County Deputy gave the monthly sheriff’s report. Discussion on the garbage contract, Village Clean-up days on May 1st to the 4th, water rates, and seasonal water was held. Alan Krupicka gave his monthly water report. As there was no further business, a motion was made by Likens and seconded by Placek to adjourn. Motion carried with all members voting aye. Donna S.
