Village of Swanton P.O. Box 23 Swanton, Ne 68445 OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS June 8, 2015 The regular meeting of the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Swanton, Nebraska was held at the Fire Hall in Swanton, Nebraska on the 8th day of June, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. Present were Chairman Runty, Trustees: Placek, Kujath, Bass, and Strouf. Donna Rut, Village Clerk, Alan Krupicka, Water Operator also attending the meeting. Notice of the meeting was given in advance thereof by posting as required by law. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. The Open Meeting Laws are posted in the meeting room. The claims, treasurer's report, and minutes were presented. A motion was made by Placek and seconded by Kujath to approve the minutes and treasurer's report and to pay all claims as presented. Motion carried with all members voting aye. Trustee Strouf presented two bids for repairing the lagoon fence. A motion was made by Placek and seconded by Strouf to approve the bid from Roger Burda Construction. Motion carried with all members voting aye. A motion was made by Strouf and seconded by Bass to have Ken Schwan repair the well house. Motion carried with all members voting aye. A motion was made by Bass and seconded by Strouf to approve the proposal from Manning & Associates for preparation of the budget. Motion carried with all members voting aye. Village Attorney Gropp discussed nuisance properties and an ordinance for animals within the village. Resolution #2015-2: A resolution to modify property boundaries and approve a subdivision conveyance for land in the Village of Swanton, Nebraska was read. A motion was made by Strouf and seconded by Kujath to approve the resolution. Kujath, Bass, Runty, and Strouf voting aye. Placek abstained. Discussion on propane booking, mitigation meeting, and unlicensed vehicles-was held. Chairman Runty read a thank you from the Swanton-Alumni. Alan Krupicka, Water Operator reported on the water tests and the Maguire Iron proposal for the water tower repairs. As there was no further business, a motion was made by Placek and seconded by Bass to adjourn. Motion carried with all members voting aye. Charlie Runty, Chairman Donna S.
