SALINE COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION The special meeting of the Saline County Board of Equalization opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting was called to order at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2024, by Chairperson Phil Hardenburger. Present were Hardenburger, Janet J. Henning, and Marvin A. Kohout Commissioners, Diann Nettifee, County Clerk. Commissioner Russ Karpisek arrived after roll call. Commissioner Stephanie A. Krivohlavek was absent. Notice of said meeting was posted in the County Clerk’s office, at www.salinecountyne.gov and on the County’s Facebook page. Notices were also posted at front door of the Courthouse, Food Mesto and Wilber Post Office on December 23, 2024, in compliance with State Statutes. Hardenburger advised those present of the open meetings act posted at the back of the room and all proceedings are electronically recorded; Approved agenda as presented; Approved minutes of the December 10, 2024 meeting; Correspondence: None Business for action; Approved Resolution #2024-083 – Appointment of agents for TERC matters regarding Case Number 23R 0556, Michelle R. Fochtman; Approved Resolution #2024-084 – Appointment of agents for TERC matters regarding Case Number 24R 0587, Brian J. Baker; 9:25 a.m. Approved to enter into Closed Session – Application for Vehicle Exemption; 9:29 a.m. Approved to exit Closed Session – Application for Vehicle Exemption; Approved Application for Exemption – Sacred Heart Church; There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 9:30 a.m. The next scheduled meeting will be on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 9:15 a.m., in the Saline County Commissioners' Room, Court House, Wilber NE.
