A complete set of proceedings is on file in the Saline County Clerk’s office and www.salinecountyne.gov SALINE COUNTY/CRETE RAILROAD TRANSPORTATION SAFETY DISTRICT The regular meeting of the Saline County/Crete Railroad Transportation Safety District. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025, by Saline County/Crete Railroad Transportation Safety District Vice President Dale Strehle. Present were Strehle, Anthony Fitzgerald, Russ Karpisek, Kyle Frans and Brian Pribyl. Phil Hardenburger was absent. Notice of said meeting was posted in the County Clerk’s office and published in all three county newspapers on March 5th, 2025, in compliance with State Statutes. Strehle advised those present of the open meetings act posted at the back of the room; Approved agenda as presented; Approved the minutes of the December 10th, 2024 meeting; Approved Strehle as President; Approved Pribyl as Vice President; Approved amended Saline County/Crete Railroad Transportation Safety District By-Laws; Directors Report; Obtaining a Taxpayer Identification Number, opening an account for payment of claims, RTSD insurance, difficulty in communicating with railroad authorities, Crete Main Street railroad crossing; There being no further business to come before the committee, the meeting was adjourned at 6:34 p.m. The next regular meeting will be on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., in the Crete Council Chambers, Crete, NE.
