STATE OF NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PERMIT TO CHANGE THE LOCATION OF DIVERSION OF SURFACE WATER APPROPRIATION A-8471 Saline County Water Division 1-D Notice is hereby given that on April 29, 2014, Rodney W. Skleba filed in the Department of Natural Resources (Department) petition RLP 5061 to change the location of diversion for water appropriation A-8471 under the provisions of Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 46 290 to 46 294.05. Water appropriation A-8471, with a priority date of April 10, 1956, allows the appropriator to divert a maximum of 0.07 cubic foot per second of water from the Big Blue River from pump-sites located in the NW¼SW¼ and the SW¼NW¼ of Section 23, Township 7 North, Range 4 East of the 6th P.M. in Saline County, to irrigate 10.0 acres. The applicant proposes to change the location of diversion to a point located in the SW¼NW¼ of Section 26, Township 7 North, Range 4 East of the 6th P.M. in Saline.
