SALINE COUNTY/CRETE RAILROAD TRANSPORTATION SAFETY DISTRICT The regular meeting of the Saline County/Crete Railroad Transportation Safety District was called to order at 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, by President Brian Pribyl. Present were Pribyl, Kyle Frans, Anthony Fitzgerald, Russ Karpisek and Phil Hardenburger. Dale Strehle was absent. Notice of said meeting was posted in the County Clerk’s office and published in all three county newspapers on April 8, 2026, in compliance with State Statutes. Pribyl advised those present of the open meetings act posted at the back of the room; Fitzgerald moved to approve agenda, seconded by Hardenburger. Motion Carried. Strehle – absent Karpisek - aye Frans - aye Hardenburger – aye Pribyl – aye Fitzgerald - aye Motion Passed; Frans moved to approve minutes of the February 10, 2026 meeting, second by Fitzgerald. Motion carried; Strehle - absent Frans - aye Hardenburger – aye Pribyl – aye Fitzgerald - aye Karpisek - abstain Motion Passed; CITIZENS FORUM; no participation; Board members were updated on grant possibilities and recent contact with railroad personnel by Director Tom Ourada. Hardenburger moved to approve Claim #7 as presented, second by Frans. Motion carried.
