RESOLUTION NO 2023-07 REAL PROPERTY DECLARATION WHEREAS, the Village of DeWitt has authority under Nebraska Revised Statute 17-503 and Ordinance 6-117 of the Village of DeWitt, to order the sale of Village owned real property through the adoption of a Resolution by the Village Board directing the sale and the manner and terms of the sale, and WHEREAS, the Village of DeWitt has real property, described as follows, that is hereby directed to be sold by sealed bid: The West Half (W1/2) of Lot Numbered Six Hundred Ninety-Six (696), and all of Lot Numbered Six Hundred Ninety-Seven (697), in the Original Town of DeWitt, Saline County, Nebraska, more commonly known as 210 W York Avenue, Dewitt, NE 68341; Lots Numbered One (1) Two (2) and Three (3), Except the South Fifty-Eight Feet (58’), in Joseph Suiter’s Addition in the Original Town of DeWitt, Saline County, Nebraska, more commonly known as 206 S Lemon Street, DeWitt, NE 68431; Lots Numbered Eleven (11) and Twelve (12) in Block Two (2), in Park’s Addition in the Original Town of DeWitt, Saline County, Nebraska, more commonly known as Northwest Corner of N Hickory Street and E Fillmore Avenue, DeWitt, NE 68431; WHEREAS, the Village of DeWitt will sell said real property to the highest bidder; after a Notice of Sale has been published for three (3) consecutive weeks in a legal newspaper in or of general circulation in such City or Village prior to the sale of such property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Chairman and Governing Body of the Village of DeWitt that the above-described real property be sold after Notice of such sale has been published for three (3) consecutive weeks in a legal newspaper in or of general circulation in such City or Village prior to the sale of such property. Said notice shall give general description of the surplus real property offered for sale and state the terms and conditions of such sale.
