RESOLUTION NO 2023-02 Real Property Declaration WHEREAS, the Village of DeWitt has authority under Nebraska Revised Statute 17-503 and Ordinance 6-117 of the Village of DeWitt, to order the sale of Village owned real property through the adoption of a Resolution by the Village Board directing the sale and the manner and terms of the sale, and WHEREAS, the Village of DeWitt has real property, described as follows, that is hereby directed to be sold by sealed bid: Lots Numbered Two Hundred Sixty-two (262), Two Hundred Sixty-three (263) and Two Hundred Sixty-four (264), in the Original Town of DeWitt, Saline County, Nebraska, more commonly known as 406 N Quince Street, Dewitt, NE 68341; Lots Four Hundred Eighty-Eight (488), Four Hundred Eighty-Nine (489), Four Hundred Ninety (490) and Four Hundred Ninety-One (491), in the Original Town of DeWitt, Saline County, Nebraska, more commonly known as 208 E Lancaster Avenue, DeWitt, NE 68431; Lots One Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Three (1233), and One Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Four (1234) in the Original Town of DeWitt, Saline County, Nebraska, more commonly known as 201 S Catawba Street, DeWitt, NE 68431; Lots Twelve Hundred Fifty-Nine (1259), Twelve Hundred Sixty (1260) and the West Half (W½) of Twelve Hundred Sixty-One (1261), in the Original Town of DeWitt, Saline County, Nebraska, more commonly known as 202 S Lemon Street, DeWitt, NE 68341; and Part of the Northeast Quarter (NE¼) of the Southwest Quarter (SW¼) of Section Thirteen (13), Township Five (5) North, Range Four (4) East, plot bounded and described as beginning at a point in North line of Lancaster Avenue Three Hundred Thirty-Four (334) feet, West of the Southwest (SW) corner of Lot Four Hundred Fifty-One (451), DeWitt, thence East along North line of Lancaster Avenue Eighty-Eight (88) feet, thence North One Hundred Forty (140) feet, thence West Eighty-Eight (88) feet, thence South One Hundred Forty (140) feet, to the place of beginning, in the Original Town of DeWitt, Saline County, Nebraska; WHEREAS, the Village of DeWitt will sell said real property to the highest bidder; after a Notice of Sale has been published for three (3) consecutive weeks in a legal newspaper in or of general circulation in such City or Village prior to the sale of such property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Chairman and Governing Body of the Village of DeWitt that the above-described real property be sold after Notice of such sale has been published for three (3) consecutive weeks in a legal newspaper in or of general circulation in such City or Village prior to the sale of such property. Said notice shall give general description of the surplus real property offered for sale and state the terms and conditions of such sale.
