REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR STANDING HAY Sealed bids will be received by the Lower Big Blue NRD at 805 Dorsey Street, P.O. Box 826, Beatrice, Nebraska, 68310, no later than 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, for the privilege of cutting, baling, removing, and claiming the hay on district land. A description of the individual tracts, bid forms and conditions for bidding may be obtained at the district office. Bids must be submitted on bid forms furnished by the district and must be mailed to or otherwise deposited at the district office at the address shown above, in a sealed envelope marked “Bid for Standing Hay”. A check in the full amount of the bid submitted must accompany the bid. A minimum bid of $20.00 per acre on all tracts will be required. All hay must be removed from each tract by September 1, 2023 or it shall become the property of the district. The district reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or the proposal of any item, to waive technicalities or to accept such as may be determined to be in the best interest of the district.
