PROCEEDINGS OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WILBER, NEBRASKA Monday, June 30, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Mayor Chrans called the special meeting to order at the Cultural Center at 110 W Third Street in Wilber, Nebraska on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. The following were present. Mayor Roger Chrans, Councilmembers Randy Sasek, Kent Linhart, Tim Lempka and Allen Brozovsky, City Clerk Lori Rezny, City Treasurer Melissa Beeman, City Attorney Tad Eickman, Randy Kozeal and Legion Members, Ken Uher, Loren Thompson, Rick Homolka, John Connell and Ross Strom. Notice of this meeting was posted in three places within the City June 25, 2025. The Mayor stated that the open meetings act is posted in the meeting room and is available for public inspection. Roll call shows four Councilmembers are present. The Mayor called for recognition of visitors if anyone in attendance wishes to address the Council. No one addressed the Council. The purpose of the meeting is to have discussion with Legion members regarding concerns about campers at the Legion Park. An open discussion was held between the Mayor and Council and Legion members present. Council expressed concern about the long term campers and condition of the sites when they are there for long periods of time. Legion members explained that they have taken steps to improve the condition of the campsites. It was agreed to keep the lines of communication open between the City and Legion if concerns are raised in the future. Meeting adjourned at 5:55 p.m. WR — July 09, 2025 ZNEZ
