PROCEEDINGS OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WILBER, NEBRASKA Monday, July 25, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Mayor Chrans called the special meeting to order at the Cultural Center at 110 W Third Street in Wilber, Nebraska on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. The following were present. Mayor Roger Chrans, Councilmembers Randy Sasek, Kent Linhart, Tim Lempka and Allen Brozovsky and City Clerk Lori Rezny. City Attorney Tad Eickman was present by phone. Notice of this meeting was posted in three places within the City on July 21, 2025. The Mayor stated that the open meetings act is posted in the meeting room and is available for public inspection. Roll call shows four Councilmembers are present. The Mayor called for recognition of visitors if anyone in attendance wishes to address the Council. No one addressed the Council. The purpose of the meeting is regarding safety measures for property located at 217 W 2nd St., Wilber, NE. A discussion was held between the Mayor and Council regarding the property located at 217 W 2nd Street, Wilber, NE. The property is dilapidated and poses a safety hazard. After some discussion, it was agreed that the property will be roped off and the property owner will be notified to either make the necessary repairs or demolish the house.
