Phyllis “PR” Maas Nelson was born Sept. 26, 1939, in Wilber and passed away Oct. 14, 2022, in Phoenix, Arizona.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, coloring, camping, reading, being active, but most importantly – being involved with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Darrell Dorn of Phoenix; daughter, Darcie (Gary) Kvasnicka of Hickman; grandchildren, Natasha (Bill) Pegans, Brittany (Brenton) Thompson, Tyler (Janae) Kvasnicka and Hayley (Darren) Curtis; great-grandchildren, Ainsley and Annie Pegans, Parker and Connor Thompson and Shiloh and Weston Curtis; brothers, Roger (Jeanette) Maas, Don (Billie) Maas and Bob (Marilyn) Maas; sisters, Nancy Hayek and Sally Chrastil. She was preceded in death by parents, Bernard and Blanche Maas; daughter, Connie Roush; and sister, Darlene Maas.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, Nov. 19, at 3:30 p.m. at Shepherd of The Hills Church in Hickman. Memorial contributions are suggested to the church.
