OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS This is a synopsis of the Saline County Board of Equalization’s August 25, 2015, regular meeting proceedings. A complete set of the proceedings is on file in the Board of Equalizations’ Journal, is of public record in the Saline County Clerk’s office and at our website: www.co.saline.ne.us SALINE COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION The regular meeting of the Saline County Board of Equalization opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting was called to order at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, by Chairperson, Janet J. Henning. Present were Henning, Stephanie A. Krivohlavek, Marvin A. Kohout, Willis D. Luedke and Tim McDermott, Commissioners; Anita Novotny, clerk in the Assessor’s office and County Clerk, Linda Kastanek. Notice of said meeting was posted in the County Clerk’s office, on the Saline County Website, and published in all county newspapers prior to the meeting, in compliance with State Statutes. Let the record show that all proceedings are electronically recorded. Henning advised those present of the open meetings law posted at the back of the room. The Board: Approved the agenda as presented; Luedke moved to approve the minutes of the August 11, 2015 meeting as presented; Approved Tax List Correction #2015-09, correcting the tax on a 2013 Homestead Exemption that has been approved for 40% per letter received from the NE Department of Revenue; The Homestead Exemption protest was tabled until next meeting. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 9:25 a.m. The next meeting will be on September 8, 2015, at 9:15 a.m. in the Saline County Commissioners' Room, Court House, Wilber NE.
