OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS This is a synopsis of a special meeting of the Mayor and Council of the City of Wilber. A complete copy of the proceedings, resolutions and ordinances are on file at the City Office, 110 W Third Street, Wilber, NE and are available for public inspection during regular business hours. PROCEEDINGS SPECIAL WORKSHOP MEETING THE WILBER CITY COUNCIL AND THE CITY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION WILBER, NEBRASKA November 17, 2015 6:00 p.m. The special meeting was opened at 6:00 p.m. by Council President Randy Sasek. Present were Council members, Randy Sasek, Kent Linhart, and Tim Lempka. Wilber Planning and Zoning Commission members, Charles Maryska, Randy Pryor, Marvin Sasek, Joe Gifford and Bob Maly. Also present was City Clerk Lori Rezny, City Attorney Tad Eickman, City Superintendent Mike Pospisil and Miller & Associates representatives Brenda Jensen and Eric Hellriegel. The purpose of this meeting is to hold a workshop with representatives from Miller & Assoc. for the Comprehensive Development Plan, Zoning Regulations and Zoning Maps for the City of Wilber, Nebraska. Notice of this meeting published in the Wilber Republican on November 4, 2015. Council President Sasek stated that the open meetings act is posted in the meeting room and is available for public inspection. The meeting was then turned over to Brenda Jensen and Eric Hellriegel with Miller & Assoc. who presented the proposed Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Regulations and Zoning Maps. A lengthy discussion was held regarding sections of the Zoning Regulations with the City Council and Planning Commission members. After discussion, it was agreed that Miller & Assoc. will make changes to the plan as agreed upon by members of both the City Council and City Planning Commission members. However, because the City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission members were unable to get thru all of the Zoning Regulations in the time allotted for this meeting another special workshop meeting will be set up for next week to continue going through the Zoning Regulations and Zoning Maps with Miller & Assoc.
