OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS This is a synopsis of a special meeting of the Mayor and Council of the City of Wilber. PROCEEDINGS OF A SPECIAL WORKSHOP MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WILBER, NE February 22, 2017 5:00 p.m. The Mayor opened the special meeting at 5:00 p.m. Present were Mayor Chrans, Councilmembers, Randy Sasek, Kent Linhart, Allen Brozovsky and Tim Lempka. Also present was City Attorney Tad Eickman and City Clerk Lori Rezny. The Mayor stated that the open meetings act is posted in the meeting room and is available for public inspection. The purpose of this workshop meeting is to discuss the job description and pay rate for vacant employee position(s). Discussion was held on what responsibilities of a new hire would be and what would be the pay rate. It was agreed the pay rate would depend on qualifications. It was also agreed that the Mayor should visit with Mike Pospisil the City Superintendent to get his ideas on what duties a new hire would be responsible for. Applications will be taken until March 3, 2017 and this item will be placed on the March meeting agenda for consideration. Meeting adjourned. WR — March 15, 2017
