OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS REGULAR MEETING BOARD OF TRUSTEES May 6, 2014 The DeWitt Village Board met in regular session at 7:00 PM at the village office on Tuesday May 6, 2014. Trustees present were: Badman, Wattjes, Weise, Mahloch and Brown. Also present were: Clerk Linda Schuerman and Lynne Parde. Visitors were: Mike Rahe and Bobbie Scherling from the Park & Pool Board and Deputy Sheriff Ben Valder. Received and placed on file the notices of the meeting. Motions approved by unanimous roll call vote: 1. Liquor permits to Justin Wollenberg for May 24, 2014 and Jeremy Pittman and Crystal Oltman for May 31, 2014. 2. Approve Karen Rahe to take care of plantings and mulch at welcome sign and gazebo. 3. Ordinance No. 746, entitled PROSTITUTION. 4. Motion to have Ordinance written up regarding no parking on Fillmore Ave. from Cherry St. to Hickory St. 5. Minutes of the April Regular meeting. 6. Bills and claims attached. 7. Treasurers’ report for April. Additional business for the meeting: Park & Pool board going forward with playground equipment for a Memorial Park. Progress continues on the installation of the pool water slide. Trustees talked about whether to do street repairs or tarring; will be getting some estimates from contractors.
