NOTICE For those of you wanting to register to vote by mail, you can go to the Saline County website at: www.co.saline.ne.us. Once you get to the main page, click on the “offices” tab and choose Elections. Scroll down and view the choices on the left side of the screen. Towards the bottom is the form for registering to vote. You can fill it out, print it and mail it to the Saline County Clerk’s office. If this is your first time to register in this county, you must attach a copy of your picture ID or a copy of a piece of mail that shows your physical address. It must be postmarked by October 21, 2014. (§32-321) All lines must be filled in. The Clerk’s office will be open until 6 p.m. on October 24th, for those of you not registering before then. (§32-302) Early Voting request forms are also available on the website at www.co.saline.ne.us. Click on “Offices” and then “Election Commissioner”. The Early Voting Request is near the top in the left hand column. Early Voting requests to be mailed out will be accepted until 4 p.m. on October 31st. You can vote early in the office until 5 p.m. on November 5th. You may also call the Clerk’s office at 402-821-2374 and request an Early Voting request form to be mailed to you. They are also available in the local newspapers from October 1st through October 29th. You can fill this form out and mail to our office.
