MINUTES REGULAR MEETING BOARD OF TRUSTEES May 3, 2016 The DeWitt Village Board met in regular session at 7:00 PM at the village office on Tuesday May 3, 2016. Trustees present were: Badman, Wattjes, Weise, Mahloch and Brown. Also present: Clerk, Erin Reimer. Visitors: Bev Plihal, Jen Busboom, Bobbie Scherling, Saline County Sheriff, and Carrie Lineweber. Received and placed on file the notices of the meeting. Motions approved by unanimous roll call vote: 1. Consent agenda 2. Salary and Wage Ordinance 3. Replacement of East door at Senior Center 4. Approval of Audit- Blobaum Additional business for the meeting: Saline County Sheriff reported on new computer system that is in place. Bobbie Scherling discussed summer help and requested the first aid bags be checked by the fire department. Bev Plihal discussed the East door at Senior Center. Jen Busboom discussed the Village audit for the year 2015. The Fire Department has 2 new members and a 3rd will be approved at the next meeting. Shawn also reported that the clean-up went well. Abandoned and nuisance properties were discussed and we are looking for ways to clean them up/remove them. Erin requested to go to the finance/accounting conference in Kearney, June 15-17th.
