MINUTES OF THE DEWITT VILLAGE BOARD SPECIAL MEETING HELD TUESDAY, AUGUST 26, 2025 AT 6:00 PM AT THE VILLAGE OFFICE, 209 E. FILLMORE AVE, DEWITT, NE Roll Call: Present: Chairman Fink, Trustees Rahe, Rentschler, Weise and Workman Absent: None Also present: Clerk - Moria Holly Chairman Fink announced that a copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted in the meeting room and is accessible to members of the public. Received and placed on file the notices of the meeting. 2025-2026 Tax Levy - The Board reviewed the information and scenarios submitted by Blobaum and Busboom regarding the 2025-2026 Levy. After reviewing and discussing several options, the Board agreed to set the property tax at $153,425.00, a 6% increase, with the tax levy being set at 0.447703, a 2.31% increase. Motion by Rahe, second by Rentschler to adjourn the meeting at 6:09 P.M. All in favor.
