MINUTES OF THE DEWITT VILLAGE BOARD SPECIAL MEETING held Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Village Office, 209 E. Fillmore Ave, DeWitt, NE. Roll Call: Present: Chairman Fink, Trustees Rentschler, Weise and Workman Absent: Rahe Also present: Utility Superintendent – Hunter Oliver, Utility Maintenance – Kyle Meers, and Village Clerk – Moria Holly, Park Board – Bobbie Scherling and Ray Brown Chairman Fink announced that a copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted in the meeting room and is accessible to members of the public. AGENDA ITEMS 1. Park Board – Pool Slide Improvements Multiple quotes were submitted to the Village Board regarding improvements for the swimming pool slide repairs. The quotes submitted were from TMCO for rubber gaskets and washers in the amount of $2,184.48 with hardware from Fastenal in the approximate amount of $420.00 versus a quote from Game Time for slide sections in the amount of $4,758.57 for the necessary repairs to the swimming pool slide. Motion by Weise, second by Workman, to approve the bids as submitted by TMCO in the amount of $2,184.48 and getting the necessary hardware from Fastenal in the amount of approximately $420.00. Ayes: Fink, Rentschler, Weise and Workman Nays: None Motion Carried. Adjournment at 6:10 P.M. with no further business, all in favor.
