MINUTES OF THE DEWITT VILLAGE BOARD REGULAR MEETING AND REORGANIZATION MEETING held Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Village Office, 209 E. Fillmore Ave, DeWitt, NE. Roll Call: Present: Chairman Fink, Trustees Rahe, Rentschler, Weise and Workman Absent: None Also present: Utility Superintendent – Hunter Oliver, Utility Maintenance – Zachary Schuerman, Clerk - Moria Holly, and Saline County Deputy Chairman Fink announced that a copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted in the meeting room and is accessible to members of the public. Received and placed on file the notices of the meeting. Motions approved by unanimous roll call vote: 1. Consent Agenda; motion and second to approve the Consent Agenda; 2. JEO – Village Engineer Request; motion and second to approve and sign the Request; 3. JEO – Street Superintendent Agreement; motion and second to approve and sign the Agreement; 4. NE Signs – Sign Permit; motion and second to approve the sign permit; 5. Verizon – Account Updates; motion and second to approve upgrading the cell phones and replacing tablet. 2026 Reorganization started at 7:15 P.M. Community Center updates/improvements Executive Session called at 8:00 P.M. for the purpose of discussing employee performance of a Village employee, for the protection of the public interest and for the prevention of needless injury to the reputation of the employee with the Village Board and Zachary Schuerman_. Utility Superintendent, Hunter Oliver, discussed with the Village Board the valve issue on east Fillmore Avenue and snow removal. Village Clerk, Moria Holly, discussed with the Village Board, sales tax funds, Norris lease agreement funds, and the Move In/Move Out Report.
