LSO investigating body found in southwest Lancaster County

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a citizen on April 11 at 9:40 a.m. that there was a deceased human body in the ditch approximately one-half mile south of Highway 33 on SW 128th Street. 
At this time, the body has been identified as an unknown race adult male, approximately 5’4” tall. It is also known the body has been at this location for some time.
The investigation is in its very early stages and the death is being classified as undetermined. An autopsy was scheduled for the morning of April 12. As the investigation continues and more information is learned the sheriff’s office will update the community. 
Law enforcement officials appreciate the public’s patience as investigators continue their work to determine what happened in this case, but help is needed from the public.
