Judy Kay Emeigh, age 80, of Wilber, passed away Sept. 10, 2025, in Beatrice.
She was born April 6, 1945, in Dexter, Michigan, to George and June Bolz. She raised three children with her husband, Alvin Borer. Judy loved to travel, play cards, design floral arrangements, and do word search puzzels. She has seen every episode of Perry Mason and also loved to watch Wheel of Fortune.
Visiting with other people was something she especially looked forward to. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Church in Wilber. Judy retired from UNL as custodian supervisor and enjoyed her retirement with her husband, George Emeigh.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Borer; sons, Don Borer and Michael Borer; husband, George Emeigh; son-in-law, Todd Emeigh; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Grover Shaw and Virginia and Paul Morris. Survivors include her daughter, Theresa Borer; countless nieces and nephews and their extended families.
The funeral mass was Sept. 20 at St. Wenceslaus Church in Wilber.
