Joy Ellen Apfelbeck Kemper, 87, passed Away Feb. 2, 2025, in Boise Idaho, after a short illness.
She was born Oct. 22, 1937, in Lincoln, grew up in Wilber and graduated from Wilber High School with the Class of 1955.
She was married for several years and two children were born to this union.
She worked in Lincoln and Denver, Colorado. Upon retirement, she moved to Bettlement Mesa, Colorado, and then to Boise, Idaho.
She is survived by her sisters, Shirley Kudlacek of Lincoln, and Jean Logsdon (Buck) of North Platte; brother, Gary Apfelbeck (Tish) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Palm Springs, California; two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Alma Apfelbeck; children Lori West and Linsdey Kemper, and sister Donna Lee Brian.
Burial will be at a later date.
